20 years in Innovative Learning and Development
20 years ago John Campbell founded a business called Executive and Staff Training (EAST) and ran it from his spare room in his house in Harrogate. Over the next 2 decades that business grew and morphed in to the Primeast of today.
In the early days the focus was heavily on outdoor based leadership and team development events. Even back then many of the programmes were cutting edge. For example we once ran a multi-day learning experience based on Alice in Wonderland stories! Yes, it even included actors dressed as a Rabbit and a Mad Hatter, It even a cake with an “Eat Me” label which included a page of vital information for participants.
That tradition continues today in programmes which require participants to make videos, build and fire rockets; and multi-day projects to launch a new ‘business’ culminating in our own version on ‘Dragons Den’.
