“Practice makes perfect and feedback adds a depth and richness to the coaching conversation” says Benita Treanor, Primeast Principal Coach and Senior Consultant, who facilitates the monthly North Yorkshire Co Coaching Forum hosted at Primeast’s Harrogate offices, in association with the Association for Coaching.

Co coaching forums continue to grow throughout the UK, mirroring the growth in coaching. The forum is a centre of learning, encouraging best practice, playing to strengths and putting new learning into action. It offers coaches a platform to really ‘walk their talk’ by engaging with their peers in productive collaboration and challenge in equal measure.

Lynda Freeman works as a coach for First Direct and attends the forum regularly. She sees the AC Forum as a “wonderful opportunity to experiment, take a few risks, learn in a creative environment among peers, meet in a community of practice, network, receive feedback on your coaching approach and watch other people’s style of coaching.”

The forum offers coaches an opportunity to come together once a month (voluntarily), have fun, learn in a highly focused way being future orientated in their work as coaches. The powerful benefits of this learning community is committed to recognising the end game in facilitating powerful results for their clients.
