Bertie BadgerKey team member Bertie Badger recently visited Canada to work with Primeast Director Russell Evans on the launch of a major programme in North America. The launch was part of a global roll-out of personal effectiveness programmes for a major US client. Bertie and Russell travelled to Saint John, New Brunswick where the client has a business support centre. Whilst the programmes went down a treat and the client was delighted, the outbound travel was a nightmare. Almost missing the flight from Heathrow to Halifax due to very slow airport security, Russell and Bertie arrived in Canada to discover ‘an irregularity’ with Russell’s work permit (Badgers do not need them apparently!) but this was eventually resolved. Another short flight to Saint John allowed Air Canada to lose Russell’s bag which didn’t arrive until the next day. Bertie’s next big trip is to Siberian Russia, so who knows what could happen?”
