Opening People’s Eyes to New Techniques
International conference of eye surgeonsLast week a member of the Primeast team was working with a specialist medical communications company to facilitate a speaker training workshop for doctors. The event was part of a recent international conference of eye surgeons. Many of the participants had a good standard of presentation skills but were still able to take away new tips and techniques to help them make a greater impact. As usual the style of the workshop was experiential with lots of practical exercises and opportunities to practice.
One eminent surgeon went away, re-wrote his up-coming conference presentation and adopted many of his learnings from the workshop. His performance on the main conference platform in front of 1000 colleagues was met with a huge round of applause and great feedback from members of the audience. Both he and the conference sponsors were delighted!
