CIPD – with Primeast as design and delivery team - were engaged by ALCS to deliver a series of workshops for the CEO, Directors and Heads of Department to support a major change programme.
In Detail
The intervention comprised 2 elements. The first was a high impact change management learning event to reinforce plans, concepts and behaviours within the senior team. The second was a series of learning workshops to enhance presentation and negotiation skills for the same group.
Both workshops comprised a mix of role play, practice and theoretical inputs to ensure learning was embedded quickly.
The Result
Feedback from ALCS employees highlighted the excellent performance of their senior management team during the change programme and on other subsequent occasions. A specific example cited their presentation skills in front of large, high profile audiences which often included people from broadcast media.
CIPD were invited back to roll out the skills workshops to all managers and key members of ALCS in a programme running over a number of weeks during the summer of 2006.
