Clare Gallagher
Clare is an executive coach and consultant, who believes that all individuals, teams and organisations have the potential to enhance their performance. Her clients report that her personal style of quickly establishing strong empathy and rapport enable a level of challenge and directness of feedback that is highly effective in bringing about lasting change.
Clare has been running her own successful coaching and consulting business since the start of 2000. She combines 20 years experience as a successful leader in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries, with qualifications in coaching and NLP. These enable her to design and facilitate bespoke interventions which meet both individual and team outcomes.
Originally trained as a professional engineer, she worked first for ICI in a wide range of line management roles from manufacturing to purchasing. She then moved into Zeneca as a senior human resources manager, latterly becoming an internal consultant and coach in AstraZeneca before starting her own business. She has worked in many different locations including two years in Brazil, as Assistant Works Manager on a Colours Manufacturing Site. This required fluency in Portuguese and the flexibility to adapt to a very different culture in order to be truly effective. She has also been runner-up in “Business Woman of the Year”.
