George Wardlow
George is passionate about practical teambuilding and his ability to motivate groups through experiential learning in “bush” situations. He has been facilitating corporate teambuilding courses in the beautiful Luwawa Forest Reserve since 2000.
Being a Design Engineer with British Aerospace, George had a passion to pass on his creative problem solving skills by becoming a teacher of Technology. He came to Malawi to become head of Technology, and head of a pastoral house, at St Andrew’s International High School. His skills as a mountaineer, have taken him to many remote places in Africa leading expeditions.
George’s love of the outdoors and his creative thinking lead him to take over an old property in the Viphya Mountains and he has created an International Eco Tourism Lodge, specialising in outdoor activities and Corporate Teambuilding. In 2008, George was awarded a Ministerial Tourism Prize for “Community involvement and sustainable tourism management”.
