Pete Butler
Pete specialises in innovative approaches to learning, performance and change facilitated through online e-communities, blended with traditional approaches. Pete founded ‘theLearningBusiness’ platform to support coaches and learners to get the results they need.
After qualifying as a teacher, Pete first focussed on experiential learning, before spending 4 years coaching water sports at National level. Since 1989 Pete has worked with national and multinational clients, coaching teams, managers and directors and piloting new approaches to learning and performance.
For the last 10 years Pete has developed online collaborative approaches to learning, using the power of the web to create a blend of informal and formal learning to support organisational goals. Pete has also created a Masters level e-coaching programme, and led a £1.5 million research project into effective e-learning and organisational change.
