Sam Matemba
Sam is an Organisation Development and Change Consultant who has focussed on organizational and group effectiveness interventions in Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania for the past 10 years. He has extensive experience in providing services to the public, private and NGO sectors.
Strongly committed to facilitating the development of successful and sustainable organizations, communities, and programmes, Sam has extensive and diverse experience in Organisational and Project Assessments, Strategic Planning, and Management, Leadership and Board Development. He is also conversant with social development issues.
Sam has extensive experience in the NGO sector, having worked for 10 years at Director and Board level. A trained Civil Engineer, he gradually changed career paths after seeing the need for sustainable and successful organisations in Malawi. Sam professionally trained in Organisation Development and Change Consultancy, and has run his own consultancy firm (foCi) for the past 10 years. He has designed and facilitated diverse interventions in areas such as Leadership and Team Development, Organization, Programme or Project Reviews, Institutional and Capacity Development Needs Assessments & Planning, Strategic Planning, Project or Programme Proposals, and Job Evaluations.
