The Transition from Manager to Business LeaderThe transitions from Operational Manager to Strategic Functional Manager and then on to Business Leader are complex and require different levels of thinking, and yet good functional performance is the bedrock for most people’s promotion path. The development of a broader mindset and set of skills underpins successful transition.
