Kate ByersKate works with teams and individuals with a focus on enabling growth and development. She brings to her facilitation expertise from an acting and film production background enabling delegates to achieve their course objectives. Kate enjoys group facilitation using traditional training tasks and role-play. Her understanding of relevant theories is teamed with keen observation and interest in people and their dynamics, across the social/cultural spectrum, to facilitate development.
Kate brings thought and articulation to her facilitation. Expertise gained in the entertainment industry translates well to many organisational structures enabling her to actively engage teams and involve participants in chosen process. Kate has managed creative teams in film production and worked with individual writers and executives developing screenplays from conception to delivery. Her work in this field has enabled her to both project manage and facilitate team-builds in industry, with students and at conference events.
A successful career as an actor in theatre, film and television gives her a wide experience of working within teams and has led to an understanding, and passion for development and growth within both new and established teams. This in turn has led to a growing interest in conflict resolution.
