Pete ButlerPete specialises in innovative approaches to learning, performance and change facilitated through online e-communities, blended with traditional approaches. Pete founded ‘theLearningBusiness’ platform to support coaches and learners to get the results they need.
Pete has a background in performance coaching, both in sport and business, and has worked with a wide range of organisations at all levels, focussing on how learning processes can improve business performance. After qualifying as a teacher Pete first worked with Outward Bound, focussing on experiential learning. He then spent 4 years working for the Sports Council coaching water sports at National level.
Since 1989, Pete has worked with national and multinational clients, coaching teams, managers and directors and piloting new approaches to learning and performance. His focus has been on leadership and organisational change, and increasingly on developing learning organisations. More recently, Pete has developed online coaching, establishing a Masters level programme, and is also leading a major £1.5 Million research project into effective e-learning and organisational change.
