Primeast’s approach is always about getting the right end result for our clients. Through our ELAS™ consulting approach, we work with our clients to establish what success looks like. We then focus on creating learning experiences that develop the people involved, either as intact groups in an Organisational Development scenario, or by making a learning curriculum relevant to the learner’s reality.

Depending on the client need, our blended learning experiences can be face to face or virtual. The appropriate environment is all-important when it comes to inspiring participants and connecting with real-life challenges. This means that our work involves experiential activities in training venues, corporate boardrooms, the workplace and the “Great Outdoors”.

There is no time in the modern workplace to waste on straightforward knowledge acquisition – there are many opportunities for your people to do this online at a time to suit them. Our job is to work with them to understand their issues and help them to add value back in the workplace, which we do by using a mix of experiential and blended learning, designed with the learner and their learning styles in mind.

How we work

Primeast was a pioneer in the experiential learning market, and worked with corporate clients to develop their managers in innovative and challenging ways. Even today we still deploy the principles and practices that were developed during those formative years, and have added to them with extensive client-side experience and deep academic rigour.

As flexible as we are experienced, Primeast works globally with progressive organisations, creating world-class programmes and pooling resources to deliver outstanding services with regional sensitivity. Because every organisation is different, we put no boundaries on the contribution we are able to make, using a range of interventions and approaches, including facilitation, training, coaching, speaking and consulting. Underpinning our approach is the use of experiential techniques and interactions to create a highly engaging learning environment, utilising activities, case studies and roleplays that mirror specific work situations. An experiential approach to learning also helps people reflect on current practice, reviewing their beliefs and assumptions.

We aim to appeal to all learning styles, using adult learning techniques to help change how people think so that they can then enhance their behaviours, where appropriate. Our long experience with many global organisations tells us that this is a much more effective approach to true learning and development, rather than trying to deliver behaviour change without really changing the underlying thinking. Accordingly, we encourage participants to build trust through vulnerability and openness, sharing and listening, and challenging and testing.

Quality-assured service

Quality is a fundamental requirement of our clients, and our ISO 9001:2008 QAIC/UK/511 accreditation for the design and provision of management and organisation development programmes compromising consultancy, facilitation and personal skills courses is a key factor in assuring consistent service. We have held this quality mark for over 15 years, with Primeast being the first UK management training company to achieve an accreditation for ‘the design and delivery of learning interventions’.
