Formica Group, North Shields -
How much would you value, or even pay, for the advice of experts within your profession to help with your burning talent challenges? How about 3 hours of your time to join a Primeast Talent Forum? Following the launch of their £40m investment plan at their new European manufacturing HQ in North Shields earlier this year, Formica is hosting the Talent Forum for the first time. Their ‘hot-seat’ challenge for the event is;
“Looking from the outside in – how do we equip managers to think and lead more strategically in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We seek to place the customer at the heart of all transactions whilst delivering the needs of our employees, suppliers, customers, end-users and shareholders.”
Our hosts from the Formica Group are: Michelle Robson – European People & Performance Director and Emma Dixon – UK People & Performance Manager.
How it works: Clive Wilson from Primeast facilitates a small group of peers to explore the challenge through powerful questions from forum members, using an action learning set style. The forum closes with Formica making a commitment to action and everyone else sharing their learning. The Chatham House rule is applied. Formica is also offering an optional tour of their newly refurbished factory.
Who is invited? To ensure a high standard of dialogue is maintained, these complimentary knowledge sharing events are only open to those who hold appropriate corporate leadership, learning and development or HR positions. With a maximum of 15 places available.
How to book: To request a place, join the Talent Forum mailing list, or nominate someone else to join, please contact Rachel Sorton-Hall by email here.
Venue: Formica Group, Formica Ltd, Coast Road, North Shields, Tyne & Wear NE29 8RE Tel: +44 (0) 191 259 3912.
